By establishing Tyler Perry Studios as a hub for diverse narratives and creative experimentation, Perry has the opportunity to reshape the entertainment landscape, contributing to a more inclusive media future that resonates across racial, cultural, and geographic lines. His expansion into new genres could lead to groundbreaking portrayals of Black characters in spaces that have historically overlooked them, offering layered and authentic depictions of Black life, while also highlighting often-overlooked aspects of Black identity and history. Collaborating with black owned anime and manga companies like Saturday AM, Noir Caesar, D'Art Shtajio, and Martian Blueberry, known for their diverse and culturally relevant work, would make it easier the development of animated series, sci-fi and fantasy films, manga, and graphic novels featuring complex, diverse protagonists, tapping into both children's and adult markets.
