8 things I want to see in a Street Fighter Movie One year ago, I watched the reboot version of Mortal Kombat in theaters. I was amazed that WB, New Line Cinema, and James Wan take the source material and lore of the fighting game seriously. The movie wasn't bad or good or even perfect, but it was okay to some viewers, and I gave this movie 78% or a C+. It is not like the other classic MK movies in the 90s, but it's a great movie. Also, I watched the first animated Mortal Kombat movie, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge. It was more relaxed than the movies, and the second time I saw an animated version of MK characters since Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realms. There is a Fighting game that is the opposite of Mortal Kombat and inspired Boon and Tobias to create the game into a franchise.
