Nigerian superhero for the DC Universe Introduction: I’ve been a fan of comic books for my entire life. For decades, DC & Marvel have had a variety of heroes such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Captain America. Honestly, they are just white people in masks and tights. But there are few heroes of color, such as Black Panther, Luke Cage, Storm, Static, Cyborg, Black Lightning, and Blade. In 1992, Dwayne McDuffie and Denys Cowan founded Milestone comics, creating heroes of color such as Icon, Rocket, Hardware, and the Blood Syndicate. In the modern era, comic books had new and diverse heroes, such as Muslim Ms. Marvel,afro-latino spider man, Shang Chi, Chinese Superman, Brazilian Wonder Woman, and Black Batman. I created my own superhero for my fanfic dc universe because I’m a first-generation Nigerian American who lived in Naija for 8 years and with a great passion for comic books.
